Chestnut Hummus

2 SERVINGS


INGREDIENTS:

  • 95 grams Chestnuts (roasted, deshelled)

  • 23 grams Tahini

  • 1 Garlic (clove)

  • 15 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil (plus extra for garnish)

  • 2 grams Sea Salt

  • 1/2 Lemon (juiced)

  • 59 ml Water (cold)

  • 3 grams Sesame Seeds (for garnish, optional)



DIRECTIONS:


  1. Add all the ingredients except for water and sesame seeds to a food processor. Blend until pureed.

  2. Turn the food processor on high and slowly stream in the cold water. Continue to blend until really smooth and creamy. Season with additional salt or lemon juice, if needed.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl. Top with sesame seeds and additional oil, if using.
